Be aware that the parent-child are an interconnected unit. Each one influences the other.
Be aware of your goal for parenting each child. If you are not sure of it, reflect on what you focus on.
Be aware of each child’s right to be treated uniquely but loved unconditionally. This is the unique function of a parent.
Be Committed
Be committed to your role as a parent
Be committed to provide the child with an environment in which to grow
Be committed to allow for self-growth both as parent and through other roles
