There comes a time when the parent removes the training wheels, knowing the child is ready to balance themselves
The child has found her center of gravity in a moving cycle.
There comes a time when the shoulds and should-nots governing conduct give way to a more spontaneous flow.
The center of loving light has been found, and nothing else is needed to keep one’s balance in the turbulence of relationships.
The child falters a bit, and then becomes confident on the bike. She has proven to herself that she is capable.
The human being falters at first, as the rules, mores, rituals provided by society give way but then becomes serene. She has proven to herself that the words and deeds emanating from her are for the highest good of all concerned.
What training wheels do you use?
What training wheels are you ready to let go of?
